What is RevivalCircle?
RevivalCircle is a concept that holds significance for unemployed people who have lost their jobs but want to take ownership and control of their future. To help them do that, RevivalCircle was conceived and designed so that they could be productive citizens and turn into entrepreneurs – the kind of people that the US Government believe constitute a powerful element of an economic recovery. RevivalCircle encourages re-integration and deliverance and a strong sense of community
RevivalCircle also welcomes people who are already self-employed or who have been running their own business – small or large – and who are interested in helping others to become successful.
While success primarily rests on self-help and personal discipline, we are aware that there are individuals who need some hand-holding and guidance to steer them in the right direction. This is one of the many reasons Revival Circle was created.
To summarize, RevivalCircle is about helping you so that you may help others. Our service is information-oriented, and our sustainability depends on the generosity of people like you in terms of sharing time and expertise.
Is registration free at RevivalCircle?
Yes. There are no membership or hidden fees. You are free to consult our knowledge center and to participate in discussions at no charge.
What do I need to become a member/participant in RevivalCircle?
First you need to create an account by registering. After you register, you will receive an e-mail at the e-mail address you provided during registration with an activation link. You follow the activation instructions in that e-mail. Your user name and password are confidential. Do not share it with others. Instead, recommend that they also register as members and make full use of the site.
I want to be self-employed but don’t know where to start.
Not a problem. This is why we created RevivalCircle. It is for people like you. Read the articles in our “Articles” Section. It contains valuable tips and information on self-employment: the concept, the pitfalls, opportunities and the channels open to you. Go at your own pace. It can be overwhelming at first, but the important thing is to take your time and learn as much as you can.
You can also participate in the forums. Introduce yourself and start asking questions. Or answer questions posted by members. Share your knowledge and experience!
Can I contact some members directly?
No. You cannot contact members directly without their permission. Nor do we allow other members to contact you if you prefer to remain private.
I see that you have a “Submit” button. Am I allowed to submit articles?
Yes. Read our article submission guidelines first. Your articles have to be relevant to RevivalCircle's mission and philosophy: self-employment and entrepreneurship. You cannot submit articles that are not related to our philosophy. You cannot submit articles about religion, sex, racism or pornography.
Your articles will be reviewed by our administrators and will be posted if they are acceptable. If you submitted an article and don’t see it on the site after 5 days, please feel free to contact us.
If I read some posts by members and feel that I can help them, how do I let them know that I’d like to help?
If you have registered correctly, you can join the discussions forum and introduce yourself to the person you’d like to help. However, use your instincts. Some members like to remain private and are just letting off steam and may not necessarily need help, while others are eager to receive advice. When you offer help, do so in an appropriate way, do not use forceful language. If the person is not interested in your suggestion, do not insist or be pushy.
